Meet Adam
Adam is an experienced engineer and project professional with a career spanning high-voltage transmission and distribution projects from 11kV to 400kV.
He spent seven years at National Grid before moving to SSEN and later AECOM, gaining experience across substation design, construction, commissioning, and owner’s engineering.
Along the way, he’s worked on everything from emergency asset replacement to major network upgrades and complex connections.
Three things to know about Adam
Leading the team
His project experience includes the Stalybridge 275kV substation connection, the 132kV Galloper Wind Farm connection and the emergency replacement of the Hoeford 11kV substation. At Chichester, he led the civil engineering response after a cable termination fault caused significant damage to the substation, rebuilding around a live site with no further safety incidents.
Principal Designer
Adam also brings extensive experience of Principal Designer duties and User Self Build projects, including the Hackney–Waltham Cross Upgrade and Iver 132kV AIS-to-GIS upgrade.
Getting the detail right
At Yova, he combines detailed engineering knowledge with a practical, delivery-focused approach. He believes in getting the detail right, and doing things right, first time.
